Per - The fans have been fantastic
Per Mertesacker has thanked the Arsenal fans for their “absolutely fantastic” support this season.
The Gunners are due to play their final match at Emirates Stadium this term when they host West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.
A point would secure automatic entry into next season’s Champions League, but Mertesacker says there is an added motivation - to deliver a performance for the fans.
