Arsenal among top 10 best paid global sports teams
Arsenal have been named in a list of the top 10 best paid global sports teams, in a study concluded by calculating the average pay of the first team squad of every major sports team during this season, Sporting Intelligence reports. In a list which also includes other sporting giants, the average weekly wage given to a player in our squad stands at £77,963, which further illustrates our financial escalation over the past few years. Arsene Wenger has often spoken about adhering to a socialist wage structure within the squad, which meant that top players earned the same as those less valuable to our team.
