Per Mertesacker confident of Arsenal recovery
Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has backed the team to recover quickly from their defeat at home to Swansea City. The Gunners suffered a blow in their bid to finish as Premier League runners-up last night with a 1-0 loss at the Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger's side remain three points behind second-placed Manchester City, though they have a game in hand on the former champions.
