Arsenal To Face Barcelona Competition For Aymeric Laporte
Reports are out claiming that Joan Laporta plans to add Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte to his ticket for the Barcelona election. Laporta is expected to soon announce his candidacy for re-election as Barca president, with the vote to be held in June. Laporte is an early transfer prospect for Laporta, who is expected to add more potential signings to his ticket in the coming weeks, says TMW. With Barca banned from the summer market, Laporta will assure voting members they will sign the young Frenchman in January. Laporte has also been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal.
