Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain spent the final few seasons of his Arsenal career on the fringes. The midfielder struggled to maintain a place in Arsene Wenger's first team, and positioning seemed to be an issue. For the majority of his six years at the North London outfit, Oxlade-Chamberlain was played as a winger, and prior to his January switch to Liverpool, the England international took on a wing-back role.
