Wenger opens up on messages of support from Ferguson
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he has received messages of support from Sir Alex Ferguson. Arsenal ended a run of four straight defeats with victory over AC Milan in the Europa League on Thursday. That competition represents Wenger's last chance of salvaging something from a failed season, which sees them sixth in the Premier League, out of the FA Cup and beaten in the Carabao Cup final. It has been the worst run of form in the Frenchman's entire 22-year reign, but he says he has received backing from one of his former foes.
