Wenger ‘Expects' Experienced Spaniard To Play For Arsenal Next Season
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that experience midfielder Mikel Arteta will remain at the Emirates next season. View image | gettyimages.com Arteta's current contract expires this summer and he has not featured since November, where he was a part of the side that defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League. The 33-year-old has featured for the U21 side recently but is not back to full fitness yet, so will not feature in this weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Reading.
