Antoine Griezmann: 'I kept waiting for Arsenal move'
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he was close to joining Arsenal in 2013, but he was left frustrated after the club ended their interest. Griezmann, who was playing at Real Sociedad four years ago, was the subject of interest from the Gunners after the Frenchman's then-agent, Eric Olhats, had been in contact with Arsenal confidant Giles Grimandi. The move failed to materialise, however, as Griezmann joined current club Atletico in 2014, and the forward has said how he snubbed Arsenal when future interest was registered in him.
