Negotiations between Mesut Ozil, Arsenal over new deal 'going well'
Mesut Ozil's agent Dr Erkut Sogut has claimed that progress is being made in relation to a potential new contract for his client at Arsenal. The German World Cup winner will become a free agent at the end of the season if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal. Talk emerged in the summer of Ozil's possible departure, but the midfielder ended staying at the Emirates, along with Alexis Sanchez, who is in the same contract situation.
