Giroud reaches 100 Arsenal goals faster than Bergkamp and Van Persie
Olivier Giroud has reached 100 Arsenal goals, doing so at a faster rate than club icon Dennis Bergkamp and former star Robin van Persie. The Arsenal striker scored in the 49th minute of Thursday's Europa League clash against BATE to reach his century for the club. Giroud becomes the 19th Gunners player to reach 100 goals and is their 12th-fastest to reach the mark after netting in his 237th appearance. The 30-year-old reached his milestone faster than Van Persie (238 games) and Bergkamp (296), but slower than Arsenal greats like Ian Wright (143) and Thierry Henry (181).
